| Product details |
Thomas L. Cathey was a renowned American illustrator and designer who created charming Easter-themed artwork for decorative tins and candy containers during the 1970s and 1980s. His distinctive style featured soft, realistic portrayals of bunnies, chicks, and spring florals that became iconic representations of vintage Easter décor. These lithographed tin eggs were manufactured primarily in Hong Kong and sold throughout the United States as seasonal candy containers and collectible keepsakes. These vintage Easter tins from the Thomas L. Cathey Collection are highly sought after by collectors of holiday memorabilia, vintage advertising tins, and nostalgic Easter decorations. They appeal to enthusiasts of mid-century kitsch, seasonal collectibles, and retro Americana who appreciate Cathey's distinctive artistic style. The sentimental value, charming folk-art aesthetic, and limited production runs make these pieces popular display items during the spring season, with dedicated collectors seeking to complete sets of Cathey's various Easter designs. Two available. Price is for each.
