Bring a touch of European cottage charm to your home with this delightful vintage bird basket from Czechoslovakia. Crafted in glazed earthenware, this sweet little basket features a molded songbird perched among softly ribbed wicker, finished in beautiful shades of robin's egg blue, cream, peach, and soft brown. The gentle hand-applied airbrushed colors and whimsical design make it a lovely accent for spring decorating, cottage interiors, or year-round vintage displays. Perfect for displaying a small bouquet of violets, lily of the valley, dried lavender, or baby's breath, it also makes a charming catchall for jewelry, sewing notions, or treasured keepsakes. Made in Czechoslovakia, this basket dates to approximately the 1940s–1950s, when beautifully crafted European giftware was exported to the United States.
