【Authentic Work】 Japanese Painter Nagashima Myojo White Peony Framed Artwork by an Artist Connected to Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture This is an authentic, hand-painted Japanese artwork by Myojo, a renowned master of bird-and-flower paintings who resided in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture. The subject is the Peony, and this piece is a beautiful depiction with a striking contrast between the pure white petals and the leaves rendered with powerful brushstrokes. Peonies are known as Flowers of Wealth and Honor and are considered very auspicious, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. Therefore, this artwork can be displayed in various locations, such as living rooms or entryways. Artwork Details: Artist: Myojo (with signature and seal) Subject: White Peony Technique: Japanese Painting (Hand-painted) Dimensions: Frame: 56.5 cm × 47.5 cm × 5 cm (Depth) (22.2 × 18.7 × 2.0 inches) Painting: 40 cm × 31.5 cm (15.7 × 12.4 inches) Condition: There are signs of age-related yellowing and spotting (pinpoint stains) due to storage, but these do not detract from the artwork's atmosphere and can be enjoyed as a unique vintage charm. Overall, the condition is good. The price is for the painting only. If you require the frame, please note that additional shipping costs will apply. As the front is glass, there is a possibility of breakage during shipping. Shipping without the glass is possible. Local pickup is also available in Warabi City, Saitama Prefecture. This is a valuable piece by an artist who has since passed away. Please carefully examine the condition of the artwork in the photos before purchasing. Click here for the manufacturer's site
