Discover this beautiful and truly unique vintage Southwestern artisan sterling silver neckerchief or scarf slide. It features a striking minimalist geometric X or crossed-bar design, elegantly framed in an oval shape. This exceptional piece exudes timeless Western charm and craftsmanship. The back of the slide showcases a thick copper band, a hallmark of mid-century Southwestern bench-smiths who commonly utilized copper for its exceptional durability and strength. This thoughtful construction ensures the slide will remain a cherished accessory for many years to come. While there appears to be a signature stamped on the back, it is difficult to decipher, adding a fascinating touch of mystery to its origins. This slide measures approximately 1.5 inches long and 1.1 inches wide, with a weight of 12.52 grams, making it substantial yet comfortable to wear. There is a faint 925 stamp on the side of the slide, which is circled in one of the pictures. It also tested positive for sterling silver. The slide is perfect for adding an authentic touch of Western flair to your favorite scarf, neckerchief, or wild rag. This piece has a good amount of patina, consistent with its age. The decision whether or not to polish it has been left up to your preference. Please look carefully at the photographs, as they're part of the description. Colors may vary slightly, depending on lighting and the brightness of your computer screen.
