This vintage educational booklet, titled Nuclear Energy for Desalting, was published by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (Division of Technical Information) as part of their Understanding the Atom series. The publication explores the application of nuclear power to water desalination, covering technological approaches, global water needs, and future projections for nuclear energy applications. Features include an overview of nuclear-powered desalination concepts, historical context from the AEC leadership era (including Chairman Dr. Glenn T. Seaborg), and a detailed table of contents.
