Each dish measures just over 4.25 inches in diameter. “France” and ocean liner in gold. Rare and in very good condition. Use this cobalt blue glass circa 1960s SS France ocean liner coaster to hold your favorite cocktail glass or display it as a cool old travel souvenir. The vintage souvenir trinket dish could also be used as a catch-all tray. SS France was a Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (CGT, or French Line) ocean liner, constructed by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard at Saint-Nazaire, France, and put into service in February 1962. At the time of her construction in 1960, the 316 m (1,037 ft) vessel was the longest passenger ship ever built, a record that remained unchallenged until the construction of the 345 m (1,132 ft) RMS Queen Mary 2 in 2004. Genuine vintage, the glass coaster is in good condition showing wear consistent with its age and use. Approximate Measurements: 4 1/4 Diameter
