Own an authentic piece of American history with this beautiful hand-quilted antique Log Cabin quilt, dating to approximately the 1920s–1940s. Made during the Great Depression era, it features the classic Log Cabin pattern in a Barn Raising layout, creating a striking diamond design. The quilt includes a wonderful mix of period fabrics in indigo blue, burgundy, mustard, cream, and assorted calico prints. Details: • Era: Approx. 1920s–1940s • Pattern: Log Cabin / Barn Raising • Construction: Hand quilted • Backing: Pieced cream backing with visible utility seams where smaller fabric sections were joined • Weight: Lightweight with thin batting; summer-weight style • Size: Traditional shorter antique sizing; shown on a standard Full-size bed with a short drop on the sides Condition: Good, sturdy antique condition overall with age-related discoloration and staining. There are multiple light yellow storage/oxidation spots on the front, including the cream borders and patterned blocks. The backing has more widespread light yellow age/storage spotting. Fabric remains structurally sound with no major fraying, fabric shattering, or ripped seams noted. Hand-quilting remains nicely intact. Please review all photos closely for condition and details. Smoke-free home.
