A CD portable player from KENWOOD, an audio manufacturer everyone admired during the Heisei era. Its design is pure Y2K, making it so bad it's good. It skips about a few times per hour during playback. It's unclear if this is due to the lack of vibration resistance, its sensitivity to slight tremors from walking nearby, or capacitor issues. Despite the occasional skips, it features a dual DAC, resulting in a rich, powerful sound that I found quite enjoyable, which is why I used it. Recommended for those who can repair it themselves or use it for parts. It has a bass boost function, but it distorts so much that it's not practical. BASS BOOST function Equipped with Dual DAC Converter. Operation confirmed: - Power on, startup: OK - Button operation: OK - LCD display: OK - Sound output: OK - Volume control: OK - CD playback: OK - CD fast forward, rewind: OK AC adapter is not included. Please purchase an adapter that can be adjusted to various voltages from places like Amazon for use. Battery compartment shows no signs of leakage and is in good condition. (Batteries are not included.) To prevent any issues, please accept this item as is, with no claims or returns. Thank you for looking. #HeiseiRetro #Y2K Click here for the manufacturer's site
