This is a Tailwalk GLAPPY 55ML. I purchased it on Mercari and used it a few times in freshwater, wiping it down after each use. There are some signs of use on the grip, so please be aware if you are sensitive to this. Quoted from the Tailwalk official website: 5.5 ft, 2-piece model Lure fishing, where you face a single bass using a variety of lures... there's no other fishing style that allows for such free thinking and approach. The GLAPPY series from Tailwalk is a bass rod with the concept of playing more and more. We offer a lineup of short lengths that are faithful to the basics, going against the times. It proposes the importance of mastering rod length and power, the fun of accurate casting, the joy of luring fish by moving lures, and enjoying the fight with the bass using the entire rod. The blank material uses a glass composite blank to amplify the rod's bending range. The wide release point during casting also makes it beginner-friendly. Of course, the flexibility unique to this material expands the range of lures that can be used, which were previously limited by traditional rods, and its return motion amplifies the lure's movement. We want you to enjoy playing freely with topwater plugs, shallow crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, no-sinker worms, and more. The length is also gentle for children and women, offering a reassuring rod feel. The grip length is easy to handle when used on kayaks, float tubes, or rowboats. It's also fun to challenge catfish and native trout, not just bass. While it has a traditional design, it can be paired with reels, both new and old. Equipped with stainless steel SiC guides.
