Photographed on 5/26/24 Heuchera 'Melting Fire' 'Melting Fire' is a variety with beautiful crimson foliage. The leaves have a wavy, fringed texture, and their beautiful reddish-purple color makes them popular for mixed plantings. Heuchera are perennial plants native to Mexico, belonging to the Saxifragaceae family. Their mysterious foliage, which forms a mat even in shady areas, can be enjoyed year-round, and in early summer to summer, they produce beautiful small flowers that bloom like coral. They are an essential and captivating item for shade gardens. They are versatile for flower beds, potted plants, cut flowers, and ground cover. The seedling shown in the photo will be removed from its 9cm pot, with soil attached. The roots will be kept moist with paper towels soaked in Menard solution, and the plant will be shipped flat in a 3cm thick box via Yu-Packet. Please understand that the leaf tips may be slightly bent to fit into the Yu-Packet box. Depending on your region, Yu-Packet may take longer than Nekoposu to arrive. We appreciate your understanding. Please refrain from purchasing if you are in Okinawa Prefecture, as it has taken 5-10 days for delivery from Tokyo in the past. Type: Cold-hardy evergreen perennial of the Saxifragaceae family Plant height: 40-50cm Flowering period: May-July Cold tolerance: Down to -15 degrees Celsius Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade Uses: Flower beds, potted plants Cultivation method: Prefers moist, fertile soil. It is strong against heat and cold and is vigorous, requiring little maintenance. It is weak to dryness, so manage watering to prevent it from drying out. It will form a rosette shape in winter. We cannot guarantee growth or flowering as cultivation environments vary. We will pack the plants as carefully as possible to minimize stress, but please understand that there may be damage due to cold, heat, or stuffiness during transport. As this is a living plant, its appearance changes daily. This plant was grown by an amateur as a hobby, so there is no compensation for wilting during transport or after arrival. We also do not accept price negotiations for individual items. Click here for the manufacturer's site
