How about this for the spring spawning season of baby medaka? They breathe through their gills and absorb nutrients from them. ?? Please read the following carefully and only purchase if you agree. This product is culture water made from green water, diluted with Kumamoto Prefecture-produced Chlorella powder. Chlorella cannot be cultured unless it is live chlorella. This is because chlorella in tablet or powder form is dead. Live chlorella is very expensive, and although I continued to purchase it for several years, I stopped because it was a waste of money. Recently, inexpensive imported live chlorella is available, but honestly, I cannot recommend it. This is a hybrid seed water made by dissolving Okinawa Prefecture-produced powdered chlorella in our home's phytoplankton-rich green water. It turns blue due to the presence of phytoplankton, and it is rich in plankton that serve as food for baby and juvenile fish. Thanks to this seed water, the number of baby and juvenile fish that die has almost disappeared, and their growth has accelerated. It also improves the coloration of medaka. It can also be used to culture daphnia. One 30ml dropper bottle can be used to make one 500ml PET bottle. It will naturally become a concentrated green color with phytoplankton. In adult medaka tanks, it turns dark green faster. This is because adult tanks have more feces, leftover food, and ammonia, which are food for phytoplankton, than baby fish tanks. Phytoplankton will not grow unless outdoors. If there are many bacteria, the plankton will be eaten and the water will not turn green but brown. ?? In the case of highly concentrated green water seed water, it will develop a strong odor if the microorganisms and plankton die inside the dropper bottle, but the odor will not be noticeable if you add it to water treated with a dechlorinator, and the baby and juvenile fish seem to eat the dead plankton. For experimental purposes, I intentionally killed the plankton at high temperatures and raised baby fish to juveniles in culture water that had a fermented smell in addition to the grassy smell. If a small amount of phytoplankton remains, the water will turn green. Since the plankton in the culture water may die due to temperature changes or lack of oxygen, residents of Okinawa, Hokkaido, and remote islands should purchase at their own risk.
