This is a creamer from the Swansea Spray collection by British potter Susie Cooper, made of earthenware. - Contents: Creamer (Large) - Size: Approx. 7 cm diameter, 7 cm height - Design: Hand-painted Star Susie Cooper Star Milk Jug Creamer Sugar Hand-painted Pool Pottery Earthenware Made in England SUSIE COOPER STAR SUGAR Handpainted Earthonware Made in ENGLAND Quoted below: Susie Cooper's ceramics continue to captivate fans worldwide, loved not only by the British middle class but also by the Royal Family. In recent years, collectors have increased, and her pieces are now appearing at major auction houses. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother herself said, My home wouldn't be complete without Susie Cooper, highlighting how beloved her works are. --- This item is from the 1935 earthenware Swansea Spray release. The design is charming, especially considering it's about 90 years old. Earthenware was Susie's primary method until the 1950s. It's characterized by the slight unevenness and glaze variations that occur during manufacturing, giving it a rustic warmth and a simple yet modern aesthetic.
