Nagasawa Seisakusho Original Wind Instrument Boost Item: Oboe Inner LB Ring 1.5mm. By inserting the 1.5mm 950 silver square rod ring into the inside of the bell socket and sandwiching it with the body, you can achieve a stable overall resonance. This item helps to consolidate the low-frequency range, which tends to sound thin or spread out, giving it a rich and full tone. The photo shows a YOB432, but on models with fewer key options, such as the Marigaux Lemaire, the lower joint is lighter, and the difference in resonance compared to higher-end models is significant. Adding this ring provides both a sense of weight and a richer sound. Additionally, there is a synergistic effect when used in conjunction with our Oboe Lead Socket Liner, also available for sale. We would be grateful if you would consider purchasing them together. Material: 950 Silver Outer Diameter: φ22.0-21.5 Inner Diameter: φ19.0-18.5 Uses 1.5mm square rod LB is a coined term derived from the first letters of LOWER (lower joint) and Bell. Instruments confirmed for fit: Marigaux 901 Yamaha YOB432 The ring is designed to be slightly loose, so it should drop into the bell socket and rest on the bottom. If the ring does not drop in smoothly upon insertion, please do not force it. Contact us, and we will arrange for size adjustment. #NagasawaSeisakusho #Oboe #EnglishHorn #Marigaux #Yamaha Click here for the manufacturer's site
