Black Diamond Chain Spikes Distance Spikes Purchased in January 2025 and used only once. I believe they are in very clean condition. Compared to general chain spikes like Montbell, the spikes are smaller, but this makes them much easier to walk in. I used them to see icefalls on Mt. Kongo, which was covered in snow, and they worked without any problems. They are very lightweight, so they won't be a burden even if you carry them in your backpack as a backup. Brand: Black Diamond Size: L Lightweight design of approximately 115g (per side) 14 spikes (with front point) Retail price: ¥16,500 A lightweight and compact traction device for trail running shoes that provides excellent grip in winter running conditions. The 14 sharp, 8mm high stainless steel spikes firmly grip hard snow and ice, providing excellent stability and ground feel. A single spike located at the front center point effectively transfers propulsion to the toes during push-off. The upper features a hybrid structure combining softshell (toe side) and elastomer (heel side). The toe cover blocks snow entry, ensuring toe warmth and preventing shoes from getting wet and steamy.
