This is an Oriente HO-25 double bass, which is currently difficult to obtain. In addition to the careful craftsmanship and ease of handling unique to domestic production, this particular instrument stands out for its visual beauty. The back and sides feature prominent figuring (wood grain), with a deep reddish-brown texture that changes its expression depending on the angle and light. While the wood grain varies from one HO-25 to another, this instrument clearly shows wavy figuring, giving it a striking appearance. It's truly a standout piece. It's the type of instrument that looks great the moment it's placed on stage or in a studio, offering a high level of satisfaction to its owner. Of course, it's not just about looks; the sound has a clear attack, and it's easy to produce a solid low end. It's easy to grasp intonation for both jazz walking bass lines and arco playing, making it a practical choice that can be confidently taken to gigs, even as a first instrument. This bass also comes with a Fishman Realist pickup (¥56,000), so it's ready for immediate use. The condition is as shown in the photos. There may be minor scratches from normal use, but there is no critical damage that significantly affects playability. We recommend this bass to those looking for an HO-25 with beautiful wood grain or those who want to play a well-made domestic double bass for a long time. Please check the photos carefully and purchase with the understanding that this is a used item. *Due to its large size and difficulty in shipping, we request direct pickup/delivery within the Ibaraki to Tokyo area.
