[Manufacturer/Model] Squier Fender JAZZ BASS [Product Details] This is a masterpiece JV serial Jazz Bass from Made in Japan Vintage Squier, manufactured between 1982 and 1984. Models from this period, produced at the Fujigen factory during the early days of Fender Japan, were made to extremely high standards under the supervision of Fender USA, and are now highly regarded by musicians and collectors worldwide. This instrument features an original JV-era body with a high-quality Fender genuine replacement neck (officially supplied) installed. The neck offers high precision and excellent fitting. Its playability and tone are superb, upgraded to a specification that allows for immediate use on stage or in the studio. Equipped with vintage-style reverse-wound tuners (reverse tuners). This specification offers a look and feel not found on current models. [Specifications] Body: Original JV-era (Fujigen-made) Neck: Fender genuine replacement neck Pickups: Original Controls: 2 Vol / 1 Tone Serial: JV42079 [Condition] There are minor scratches, scuffs, and signs of aging consistent with its age, but overall it presents beautifully with a vintage aesthetic. Fret wear is approximately 70% remaining / Neck has a slight forward bow / Truss rod unconfirmed. The reverse tuners are in good working order and offer excellent tuning stability.
