［Why Dyneema When a Plastic Bag Would Do?］ An eco-bag made from 18g of DCF. Capacity is approximately 9L. It's the kind of bag that makes you happy when you remember you have it at the checkout, after forgetting it was in your pocket. To be honest, there's probably no need to use Dyneema Composite Fabric for an eco-bag. A convenience store bag or a ¥100 shop eco-bag would suffice. However, just knowing that 18g of DCF is in your pocket can make shopping a little more enjoyable. It's a kind of satisfaction that only UL hikers understand, and probably can't be explained to others. ［But There's a Reason.］ The body is finished with bonded seams, and the load-bearing bottom is reinforced with DCF tape over machine stitching. Since DCF itself is waterproof, even if you put a wet towel in it on your way back from a hot spring after hiking, or stuff sweaty clothes in it, nothing will seep through to the outside. It doesn't absorb water, so it doesn't get heavy and dries quickly with a wipe. The material is thick 1.43oz DCF. You don't have to worry about it tearing like a thin eco-bag when you toss in items with sharp corners on your way back from the supermarket. This is where Dyneema's tear strength comes into play. It's a story of how material selection, which started as a fun experiment, ended up being the most practical eco-bag. ［Even After Descending the Mountain, It Stays in Your Pocket.］ When you need to resupply at a convenience store on your way down the mountain, buy local delicacies at a supermarket while traveling, or say no bag needed during your regular shopping. Because it fits in your pocket and you can take it with you into daily life, it might end up being used more than any other mountain gear.
